Lifestyle modification and patient empowerment are central to sustainable diabetes and NCD management. With this commitment, Smart Healthcare and Research Ltd. (SHRL), in collaboration with Public Health Foundation, Bangladesh (PHFBD), International Medical Students’ Empowerment Network Bangladesh (IMSEN), Unico Hospital PLC and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) successfully observed World Diabetes Day 2025 through a dynamic and impactful symposium.

'Patient Empowerment for Sustainable NCD Management"
was held on 5 December, 2025 at Unico Hospital PLC, Dhaka.
The day-long program brought together healthcare professionals, patients, students, policymakers, and public health advocates in a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, inspiration, and collective learning.
